Electro House help

Hey, I need some help at making electro house. My issue is I can make a melody in my mind, I can write it in on a piano roll but if I want to try to cut the melody and use different sounds. When ever I try using different sounds it sounds unorganized and awful. I was just wondering if you have any tips on making electro house.

Here's my 2 cents. There's many reasons for this. It can be your sound selection. It can be that each sound must play at the right part. It can also be your mix. There's a lot of work around and compromises you have to make. When you do things this way anything can slap you pretty quick. It either get sloppy or takes a lot of time. You just practice and experiment as much as you can until it sound right. Get the performance to be tight.
