Hello,
I wanted to show how I typically approach editing my vocal tracks and using the CLA Vocals plugin in particular. It is a great plugin, which can easily enhance the character and depth of the vocals.
I would usually start out with the CLA Vocals plugin and then go back to EQ-in (adding the EQ prior to the CLA) and then a compressor (probably with a limiter) after the CLA Vocals plugin.
Although I am just doing this quickly, I hope this is at least a little helpful.
