Easy-to-operate vst

What I want to able too, is to program my own synth bass's, my own synth leads, and perhaps a synth string/pad. I have read some tutorials, and feel like I know the basics. But what specific vst would you guys recommend as a easy to operate kind of vst?

PSYN II Comes with kinetic. Sweet stuff. 80 for kinetic 2 but you can get kinetic 1 for 20 bucks. Also I like minimogueva. Sweet stuff. Peep KVRaudio.com and go through ratings...
