Anyone know the easiest way to layer drums on FL Studio 6? How are most drums layered? I'm guessing it needs to be done to make the track sound fuller, but what are some famous examples in rap music of a producer who layers sounds very well?

i say the EASIEST way to layer in fl is to use the fpc and go to layer properties and create each kick, how ever many u want to use or simply just put one kick and then use the layer option and layer as many as you want, its really not that hard

.... Just make sure it's on beat.

Snares on the 2nd and 4th.

It stands for "FL Pad Controller." YOu can look it up in the FL studio help menu.
Well to check it out just do Channel>Add One>FPC.
It is a very convenient way to trigger drums and samples - It is mainly aimed for someone who is triggering them with a MIDI controller with pads, but keys or even the ol mouse works fine too.

the EASIEST.. would be to just load up multiple drum tracks. then if you need to tweak 2 (or however layers you have) layers... just use the shift function to get it how you want it to sound. More often than not.. a little shifting needs to be done so one kick doesn't cancel out the other kick..
