Tim and Danja (I believe Danja did that track but they are both one in the same right now) have been known do record their own drums... The studio up in VA has many live rooms and every type of percussion instrument you can think of. Whether they bang out the beat live (sounds like it sometimes) or just record drum hits then load them into an mpc or asr (through hundreds of thousands of dollars of Mic's, Preamp's, compressors, etc...). Jimmy Douglass also has alot to do with it being their engineer and being a great engineer and making sure their sound pops. But all their drums seem to have a somewhat live and acoustic sound, especially that track.
