Dj snake / Jungle Terror Sounddesign

Hey guys,
Im looking into making some jungle terror.
Does anyone of you have any ideas on making these sounds?
Im especially looking for these kind of percussive melodic sounds as heard in the drops of these two tracks:

Dj snake - its you
Wiwek - riot

All tips and ideas about this genre are welcome!

The two sounds are different, but here are some tips for making percussive sounds:
1.Start with some oscillators. Really anything will do, use a saw or square to start with then adjust later
2. Get the volume envelope right. Obviously you want as short an attack as possible, I would use 0 sustain level and then play with the decay and decay curve (if you have the option to change the decay curve) to make the volume decay quickly without losing too much of the sound.
That should give you a decent sounding pluck sound. Then (3), as another option to make it more percussive, use a similar shaped envelope to modulate the cutoff and/or the resonance of a lowpass filter, or a very very small amount of pitch modulation.
