Deep Growling Grime Synth Sound Design

Any ideas on how to re-create the deep growling sound that comes in around 0.28 seconds? It sounds pretty flippin naughty.

Probably an FM sound.

A lot of the timbre reminds me of a dubstep growl bass but a bit simpler

Seamlessr is a man to consult for dubstep growls, but you might have to adapt it a bit yourself to make it grime-ier

Thanks, yeah it is quite dubstep-ish. I've been meaning to watch some of Seamlessr videos, he's got soooo many though I don't know where to start aha.

A lot of the FM growl ones follow a similar pattern... start with the early ones. He plays the sound he makes at the beginning of each so that saves quite a bit of time if you decide you don't like the preview
