i wanted to know how to create those distinctive crunk drum breaks, usually heard in songs created by three six mafia and a host of other southern artist?

If you mean to use "fast" hats or snares, you can it really easily with piano roll at the original speed. Just set your grid into 1/2 beat I think and do it like so.
