Continuous sub bass or long tail sub kick

I was listening to



TJR & VINAI - Bounce Generation,

and I was wondering if at the drop there's just a continuous sub bass "line" slightly sidechained with the top kick or if the perceived effect is due to a long tail sub kick layered and sidechained with the top kick

Theoretically either would achieve the same effect as long as the tail of the low kick is timed right. My guess would be that it's probably just sidechained though.
