Confused on creating Bass Synths

I'm trying to recreate the bass synth used in this song.


(There appear to be 2 different synths playing at different times in the song; 1 in the intro and the other layered with the 1st at 3:12)

I'm seeing a lot of new producers using these types of sound and I have tried to make them myself in multiple substractive synths, and can get close, but they usually sound thin with no substance. Any advice on how to make this sound would be greatly appreciated.
 
Only the one: you heard the kick embedded in the bass sound at 3:12, making it sound like second square wave type sound had been added

the bass itself is a supersaw

adsr on the vca sounds like 1:7:8:1, filter is barely modulated and there is no resonance to speak of
