Composing an MC friendly hiphop track?

Does anyone have tips on how I can make my beats MC friendly?

Is there a common structure to hiphop tracks that I should follow?
ie. 8 bar intro. 16 bar verse, 16 bar chorus etc?

drums? Should they be loose? or quite quantized? edits every 4 or 8 bars?

EQing? Should i make a generous notch in my frequency spectrum to make room for the vocals?

Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
