Chill, singing sounds

Hey guys so I want to make weeknd type beat, but I don't know where can I find this really chill singing like in this song

Also how do I edit samples to sound like those in the song, do I have to add reverb or what?

Almost sounds like a vocal layered on top of like a flute or something, but yes there is definitely reverb involved, probably delay as well (before the reverb in the chain) and it sounds like the vocal sample itself has some high end cut out which is another reason it sounds in the background of the song and so "chill".

Take off the effects and it wouldn't sound anything like that. You could use about any choir sample, give it some delay, add reverb, and maybe layer it to achieve something similar.

That mixer is obviously skilled at it but it probably wouldn't be too hard to emulate.
