changing the progression of the chord- does that mean that for example I was playing minor chords and I switched to major chords is the what changing the progression is?

probably a silly question but I saw in tutorial where the guy had a 9 bar loop and he changed the progression after every 4th bar.:hello:

A chord progression is simply a repeated sequence of chords.

A change from a minor to a major chord in the sequence is not a change in 'chord progressions' as such, but just chord changes.

You can however arrange chords in a blocks of sequences AABACA. stuff like that, when you have hooks and changeups, breakdowns and etc..

They usually last for even numbers of bars. 4/8/16 etc.
