Been try to make this (quite common) sound for AGES!

Hey guys,

So basically, I have been battling to make or recreate a rather common
sound used in many edm and electro pop tracks. It sounds 'like' an electric swell....but it doesn't seem to be that.
You can hear it pulsating VERY clearly in this track at about 2:12 - 2:23.

Please let me know if you know anything guys! Any help would be MUCH appreciated. :)

 
listening to it on cheap speakers atm but my guess would be to use 2 saw oscs at different octaves and also a pulse/square wave, then filter it slightly and add some distortion. then sidechain it against a kick or else use a ramp/triangle osc lfo to modulate the volume
