I've tried for months to figure this out on my own but to know avail. I make a pretty good song but then I get stuck on the bassline aspect. It's typically trap type as the melodies are easy and its helping me learn faster. But I put in 808 samples and they usually do not sound very good imo. The tails always too long and if i shorten it it sounds computerized. I've downloaded tons of 808 vsts and tried to tune them and adjust the presets nope still dont sound like im envisioning. Making my own 808 through a sine wave is a good technique but I dont really know how to do that. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips? I have literally been trying to figure this out for weeks now.
