S scrapheaper Moderator Jun 19, 2016 #2 Sort of bass drums. They are 808s- pretty close to the original 808 sound. The sound is achieved by actually not using any effects at all- just a pure sine wave with the right shaped volume envelope, played at a low octave Hope that helps
