Arranging the Beat

So when I arrange my beats I usually Do 3 8 bar hooks and 3 16 bar verses for a total of 72 bars. I saw a comment the other day though about arranging the beat by doing 3 8 bar segments giving you 24 bars and then take take that set of 3 8 bars and have it play through 3 times giving you the same total of 72 bars. Can anyone who uses this method expand on the idea?

Everyone who listens to your music will listen to your music, seldomly will people count how many beats and bars you have.

Listen to your track, it will tell you what it needs, start from the beginning, if the chorus, next phase, breakdown whatever is doesn't hit at the right time it will be obvious to you, and everyone who listens to your track.

No number and bars and crap, just listen to whatever feels right
