Am i right? breaking this song down

J cole - she knows - the chord progression is A - G# - C#m - E in the key of E major?
and the drums i was messing around with the kick sounds like dotted 8th notes i was messing around in maschine and i was using the note repeat with dotted 8th notes and it sounded like the same spacing between the kick and the snare...if i made a mistake anywhere please correct me and maybe tell me how you figured it out.

Probably right, but I can tell that the key is A major (it starts on A major and ends on E major, so it's really obvious) and the second chord is likely to be E major first inversion or C# minor second inversion, just because and A chord followed by a G# chord would sound a bit weird.
