What pre with my Neumann u87ai? Neve 1073 or Neve Designs Portico 5032

Im buying a Neumann u87ai and a pre-amp but which one do you think would be better? A Neve 1073 or Neve Designs Portico 5032. Im looking to mainly record mainstream style rap vocals. I was thinking the 1073 as ive heard a lot about it but the guy at the audio store recommend the 5032.

Anyone have any insight?

No personal experience. You should try Gearslutz.com I associate good things with the word Portico, did you think to ask why he thought it was better? Any chance you could audition them both? I think they'd both do a super job.
