What to do if you can't properly treat a room?

Hey, as this question has been asked a lot, i still haunt been able to find any good answers. My room size is 11ft by 21ft, the size of an average dining room. This is where i sleep and where my studio is setup. What should i go about doing to get the best sounding room as possible. Should i have blankets up in certain spots, or purchase cheap bed foam from walmart? Build some cheap bass traps? This isn't going to be permanent just for a while until i can afford proper treatment. Also, i just bought a sub woofer and I've heard a lot of talk about the crossover point, what exactly is this and how would i go about setting it? Thank you.

Check out this link which I published on my thread - Beginner’s Guide to Acoustic Treatment

There are lots of temporary solutions. Best piece of advice I can give you is position your speaker listening triangle on one of the short walls if possible. My thread is here is you haven't checked it out yet - Just ordered a pair of Adam A5X - now treatment
