Trying to record my first song... Am I on the right start?

Since I'm just a kid I don't really have the budget for anything too crazy, I'm on a 420$ budget and am trying to purchase the equipment to finally record a song, been writing for 7 years, making beats and just studying rap music for about 3 years.

With this budget I plan on purchasing, The M-Audio Firewire Solo Mobile Audio Interface, for about 200$ and The MCA(MXL) SP-1 Condenser Microphone (With mic stand, pop-filter, and other essential)... Will this be good for recording HipHop Vocals? Or can I do better?

The interface doesn't look like it has good reviews and I've seen better for less, just look around and you'll find some good stuff. If you really have a low budget ebay will probably have what you're looking for, used, for much less. Good luck, man.
