New to the whole home studio scene

Hello everyone!!!

I am just beginning to get into the whole home studio scene. I am possibly going to get a degree in audio engineering and I know I will probably want to have my own place to sit and mess with various things related to music producing. I want to know what I should get first to start my home studio. I already have a macbook pro so I do not need a computer first. Thanks!!!

Hey everyone!!!

As you all know I have been pondering on what I need to get to complete my first home studio. I think I am pretty much all set with equipment. I have purchased Logic Pro as my DAW, Axiom 25 Midi Keyboard which came with Ableton Live 8 Lite, Native Instruments Maschine Mikro Controller which came with Maschine Software and some other Native Instruments software as well, M-Audio Mobile Pre with Pro Tools MP for my Audio Interface, and a pair of M-Audio BX5 studio monitors. I feel as if I am pretty much all set with my home studio and I will purchase a microphone and post pictures when it is all finished. I am going to clean out a room so I can make a comfortable home studio in my home.
