My Recording Home Studio Equipments- NEED ADVICE!

Wassup, Im thinking of building a brand new room studio for myself. I have a A$3000 Budget and have researched the following essential equipments to purchase. The prices may seem cheap as they are all from ebay- music warehouses.

1) Pentium D Dual Core 250GB HDD Full Desktop Package- A$1000
2) 2006 Worlds best studio mic award winning RODE NT2A - A$600

3) Behringer T1953 2-Channel Tube Microphone/Line Preamplifier - A$280

6) E-MU EMU 1616 Laptop Cardbus Soundcard (PCI Adapter)- A$450

Now this all adds up to almost $2700 and im 300 under budget. I just need your advice if you think
that these are all good and worth the value, if not, what should i change and which should i buy. Iam mainly concerned over the soundcard, not sure if its the appropriate one for me to purchase.
And also, these are all the essential equipments i basically need for a home recording studio right? as i basically just record vocals? (music/beat production, mastering done by my label)

If any of you could take 5 minutes of your time to help me with this long-term investment, i would be really
thankful!
 
I would very highly recommend better monitoring and a better front end.

You want "cheap" and "good" - FMR's RNP preamp, less than $500, and probably the absolute best value in budget-friendly preamps, period.

Monitors - The most important part of *any* recording rig, along with the room. I'd spend *AT LEAST* a third of your budget on monitoring and room bass trapping alone. Nothing else matters if you can't hear it reasonably accurately.

I totally agree with him. Room acoustics and monitoring are essential. Also, what software program will you use for recording and mixing? I didn't see that anywhere in your list, unless I just missed it. Do you plan on using Cubase, Logic, ProTools? You got a computer, microphone, monitors, mics and a singer, but how do you plan on recording them?
 
Dynaudio BM5a's should be your speaker of choice. (in that price range)

Also, bass trappings will set you on your way also.
