How do i get clear recording tracks?

So, I have an audio audio technica 4040 which that goes to my mic pre, my Pro MPA II to my compressor back to my saffire pro40 Focusrite soundcard.

Any suggestions to make my sound more clearer?

"More clearer" is obviously relative to what you're getting now, so it's fairly impossible to give any meaningful advice without hearing it or knowing what kind of settings you're using.

Well, is it really distorted? Is it muffled? What’s wrong with the sound now that makes you desire to make it “more clearer”? Art pre-amps are notoriously cheap, you pay for what you get, same goes for cables, and pretty much everything else. What are your compressor settings? What quality are your recording at? What are you monitoring with? All these things could affect the clarity of your sound.
