Who can give me some good techniques for bass traps? Ones that really work. I've been putting it off for ages, but my room really needs it.

Yeah, I built 4 last month. Mineral Wool I think is what the material is called. Its like insulation but not as bad for you. Its dirt cheap to. I just nailed some 2x4's into a rectangle and placed the wool inside. Then I stapled bed sheets around it. Support beams are needed on the back. They work SO WELL. I could tell a difference in my guitar and vocal tracks instantly. No unwanted noise, smooth, and clear. Especially bass guitar! I leave them sitting on the wall when not recording with them just to make everything sound good. When I record with them I place them around an amp and then place sheets around it.
