damn man, you have a very nice set-up. the new denons are really dope from what i have read. i need to go to my local guitar center and try them out.

i have 2 pioneer CDJ-500, which i forgot to add to my list, and until i read about the denons, i really wanted the CDJ-1000's.

anybody reading this post, and has an interest in pioneer and denon CD turntables may want to check out this link:

http://www.mwsound.com/commerce/faq.cfm?INV_ID=3342

it gives some FAQ about the new denon CD players.

looking at your setup i wouldn't consider it a hip hop studio. What part of you studio do you make most your beats with? I listened to the korg ms2000 and thie proteus in guitar center and the ms sounded like something made for techno and the proteus seemed to be just a piece i would use for my strings. Anyway i looking for some new equipment to add to my studio so tell me about your stuff.

my studio

actually the proteus2000 has some really good drums and reason is very dope for beats. in all EMU sound modules you can add the other sounds from their other modules - except you can't buy the proteus expansion chip. so i bought the proteus with the intention of adding other sound chips like the MoPhatt. i said in an early post that i do have other musical intersts other than hip-hop. it's just that hip-hop is my main motivation and i really liked the MS2000's crazy sounds - and Dr. Dre uses one in his studio.

i have to run right now, but i'll post later.
