    rhythm22-

actually the proteus2000 has some really good drums and reason is very dope for beats. in all EMU sound modules you can add the other sounds from their other modules - except you can't buy the proteus expansion chip. so i bought the proteus with the intention of adding other sound chips like the MoPhatt. i said in an early post that i do have other musical intersts other than hip-hop. it's just that hip-hop is my main motivation and i really liked the MS2000's crazy sounds - and Dr. Dre uses one in his studio.

i have to run right now, but i'll post later.

I would if I had the chance ... Preme is the MAN!!! Can't wait for that gangstarr album! But anyway I'm in the process of putting together my set up:
PC- 2.4 GHz, 512 RAM, 80 GB HD

    Software- Cubase SL

Hardware- Mpc2000XL, Emu MoPhatt, turntable, M-Audio (AI havent decided I think i'll wait for the firewire interface), Shure Mic and some other stuff i'm undecided on.
I see your fear. I see your greed. Only when I plunge... will you see me. Prick.
