High ceiling in control room and recording room

Hi Everybody, I just got a new sapce that i am renting for my studio but the only thing the ceiling pretty high...How can i go around that to get better acoustics in the control room and the recording room?

How would you go about doing a false ceiling at a affordable cost...it's a really nice room and was thinking of treating to have full band takes in there.... do you think i should just get a vocal booth?

Most studios would kill for higher ceilings... You still have to "kill" them to some extent, but the higher, the bigger, the better. Almost universally.
 
The ceiling in the recording roomis 13 feet. If the room is properly treated with foams, bass traps and so on does is matter what happens above the singer...like how much space there is upward?
