I've recently gotten real serious as far as my beat making goes so here's some equipment I recently bought and I just wanted to see if anybody could let me know if there was anything important missing.

    -Home PC w/ speakers
    -Technics Record Player
    -2 big speakers
    -amplifier
    -sampler
    -midi keyboard
    -headphones
    -of course, my vinyl records

Remember, I'm NOT trying to make this a recording studio so don't tell me I need a mic or anything. I do have pc softwares like Reason, Fruty Loops and Cubase but I try to use them as little as possible. Cubase has a nice sequencer tho.

well i guess i cant say **** cuz i only have a pc wit software but..
why ask what you need.... just buy what u need when u decide you need it.
if someone says 'buy this becuase you need it to produce hip hop' when you dont seem to need it... then why buy it?
    just get what u need

I think the best thing to do in regards to any setup, whether it be home studio or otherwise. is to visualize what you want to accomplish Then start asking question on what you need to accomplish it.
