Im thinking about making a room into a studio room...So what all do I need?
First off all im recording with a computer
I have a firewire audio interface, mic, pop filter, mic stand, mic cable, and headphones...
Now if I get a booth, Im getting some studio foam...
So I was wondering if you guys think I need a power amp, and a mic pre-amp?
Also whats a A/D converter and do I need it?
Can I just keep using VSTs for effects or would it be better to get some effect racks?
And tell me if theres anything else I need to know
I have a MIDI controller also if that means anything...
Oh yeah, and what are some good monitors...Id say I would spend about $400 or $500 for some, but if theres some good ones for about $250-300 then thats good too...
