Hi everyone,

can anyone tell me what are the most necessary equipment for music production at home or for home studio.

I want to buy new speakers, pc, etc, but first I wanted some ideas from someone who has a home studio or who knows what's best for a home studio.

I produce electronic dance music.

Thank you. :)

Well GeriDeeJay, I would certainly recommend acoustical wall panels to absorb any noise pollution. I would also consider Creative Wall Expression as they have a unique angle on the market. Also, obbo as well as Yamaha for their quality speakers.

Most of your sound problems can be resolved by placing your monitors in the right location. Avoid corners.

Studio foam for your speakers is a nice addition. I like cool lights, too. Those are also essential. You might want some posters as well.

Two pairs of headphones if you're recording artists.

Plenty of room for artists (just a couch will work).

Studio monitors (with an audio interface!!).

Proper cords and installation disks.

Pick yourself up an Oxygen-49 or something. It's a nice, inexpensive MIDI controller.

Hope this helped

Lol.

A desk with space.
Some nice monitors (Mackie, Yamaha, Emotiva)
Audio Interface
Some acoustic panelling.
Quality Cables

COMFORTABLE CHAIR!
