Callin all MPC heads!!!

I am currently gettin into producing HIPHOP and was wonderin what else i need besides an MPC. Can i use it as a stand alone machine, cuz i got like over 300 old records to sample off of, and 2 numark tt2's and a vestax mixer.. HELP ME

P.s. How is the MPC's sampler do on sampling stuff other than drums.

you definatly have enough to get started..... hey if in those records you have any jimmy mcgriff... you wanna sell them to me? .... your samples will be as good as your records and your creativity at sampling your records... your set.
