Acoustic Treatment: What do you use as an alternative?

Ok, I'm on a budget and I need about 2 ft by 8 ft to rap around a small wall surrounding my little studio....any advice?

Depends on what you want to do (absorb, reflect, diffuse, what freqs., etc., etc.). A bookcase can be helpful, and thickness/mass is what stops low frequencies.
