people just dont how much werk goes into coming up with good material thats worth writen down and constructing it as a whole ' the whole process of writing music and making beats people jus dont understand the werk that goes into recording and how many takes an what not 'making beats is a whole nother world an its ironic u have people who criticize and have no clue what there exactly talking bout ' who knows what these critics thing they are ?

A couple of years ago I wouldn't even listen to rap, but I've always loved every type of literature. When I decided to endeavor into writing poetry, I started looking for a way to challenge myself, which led me to the combination of Rhythm and Poetry.
I will admit that this is the hardest form of literature I've ever encountered. It's taking something we call art(usually with no boundaries) and applying all these rules; rhyming restricts the number of available words, the beats tempo restricts syllables allowed in line, and having consistent structure forces creativity in a familiar place.

I love Rap, it's a metaphor to life; making the best out of something you can not control, being free within the boundaries of so many rules. Beautiful.

Rightly said. Rap songs are a perfect mix of tunes, rhythm and lyrics.
