I was just scopin the news for a lil bit when I saw some of the most shocking pictures and video I've ever seen in my life... these people are completely and utterly desperate while their nation sits around and just watches the bullsh*t unfold... they need our help and we need to give it to them... just check out this set, and comment or whatever, drop somethin of similar nature, just get ya feelins out on the topic...:::
We got sh*t goin in the world today,
Makes me wanna stay inside, cuz if i go out to play,
I'm afraid I may get swept away, wit a current of flood water,
They down there in the south wit no food and no water,
No mothers brothers fathers sisters, misses and misters,
Walk 20 miles to a convention center, feet covered in blisters,
Now they sit there, and just wait for the death to come,
We sent them to and locked em up in a stadium,
They pray we come, wit open arms they receive us,
And the look on their faces is enough for me to start believin in Jesus,
They need us, and we need to help out how we can,
Because when it boils down to it we all are bre-ther-en,
Please, heaven, send us some guidance these men and women are beside-less,
Yet they live beside us, Are we so un prideless,
That we can't place a price on watchin' little children dyin?
Seein sisters holdin onto their brothers and just cryin?
Am I lyin when I say there's gotta be somethin more?
People breakin in and stealin food from convienence stores,
Riot guns leavin bodies dropped dead on the floor,
It's like a zone of war, bodies left strewn across the ground,
How can water be strong enough to bring a city down?
All I can do is frown, holin back tears of a thousand people,
When you see a picture of a church and all thas in the picture is the steeple,
Nature is deceitful, and a cruel hand at best,
When to go into town they need to strap on a life vest...
Nature is a weapon of more mass destruction,
Than anything that we humans could conceive to contruct, n,
It leaves behind nothin in the wake of its path,
Please God send us an angel to take care of the task....
I can only imagine bein there seein the damage first hand,
Bein the man searchin for the hopeless, the trapped and the d*mned,
And I just can't understand how this could happen on this land,
Tragedy is usually a news report sent over from a distant land,
So how can the government stand by and just play the role of,
"Nature is somethin that the White House just has no control of"
Thas bull stuff, and you bastards in Congress all know it,
If people were dyin by the dick yall would be the ones that were blowin it,
You say this nation has compassion, start showin it,
Start sendin these men and women help and let em know that,
The government has their backs, instead of think about terrorist attacks,
We can't let this sh*t past, we need a leader who will,
Take control of the situation and not choose to kill,
Innocent men women and children who still have no place to go,
It's not like they have much to just pick up and go,
But it's the facts that they know, they don't have no home,
That's got em contemplatin wit a gun to they dome,
I wish I could just pick up a phone, call each and every one of the survivors tonight,
Just to tell em I got them in my heart and everything will be alright...
But that sh*t just might, not happen in fact,
because when my government turns its back, I start the attack,
Wit flare guns and bats, we gotta fight back, these people need us,
We can't just sit still like a parapalegic,
We need to receive this, time to let actions speak louder than words,
Because sittin around.... that sh*ts for the birds....
just... i dont even know... just keep em in ya hearts
