it seems like everytime i hear or read a rap, its usually about nothing besides the rappers own ego and pride which has been supersized on record compared to how this or that emcee actually lives their life and feels about themselves... it seems the less confident emcees are more cocky while more confident emcees just come across as being themselves ( as in we the listener understand they are good)

right here the only thing telling me your a good emcee or that you get women is your lines, but i dont feel it in the lines(if that makes any sense), im just trying to say music is expression of self and im not saying this is bad i just dont feel that your expressing yourself(or more importantly, not differentiating yourself from the million other rappers who will say the exact same thing in a different format)

Constructive criticism is NOT negative feedback. Feedback at all should be appreciated - what you should WANT to hear is the honest perspective of the person reviewing your work, otherwise you cannot expect to grow. There is a lot to learn from everyone no matter where you may be in your career or any other point in life.
