Im still findin my voice too, but im close to where im feelin it for now. I spit wit my normal voice but i add a lil grit and atitude to it. And i really pop my "p" and "b" sounds. For me, its all about atitude.

    Someone has been drinking hateraid....

That was crap kid... nothing like having to spend 3 days trying to get a new crap 10 dolla mic so you got no time to find any music worth rhyming to. Accepting the voice recorded you were using wasnt going to fly, finding a new setup and learning how to use it enough to actually do it properly, then freestying it up with sheer boredom (Spitting in random styles seeing what it all sounds like) because you think you have a second round that never showed...

lol, It's a conspiracy to keep a man down

OK, I skimmed through the thread so don't get on my case if I repeat what anyone said.

    MY PERSONAL OPINION:
The key to creating a good rap voice is the energy, not necessarily the "deepness" of your voice. If you're speaking softly into your mic (don't want others to hear you?) while trying to force a deep voice, it won't work. You gotta speak up!

NEVER speak in a relaxed conversational tone. Unless you've had lots of experience with your voice, you won't pull it off.

And that's it, once you know how to properly project your voice without yelling, then you can work on everything else.
