I can understand defending your style but posting lyrics online then we jus say there could be a lil versatility, then you call us childish???

Ya know, I once did a song called "F*ck the Fans" that talked about how I did my music for me, and no one else, and it moved pretty good units. I did that song because when I write my music ( lyrics, not beats ), I don't care if people like them or not, I write my life. You couldn't pay me to rap like D4L, Jim Jones, Mike Jones, or any of them.

Nobody will ever understand, but some people who love to write, don't write to be famous, they don't write to have jewelry, they write because they literally do it for the love.

Besides, nobody *actually* knows anybody on this board, you don't know how far Cracka, or anybody on this board has gone already...

Just saying, think before you speak, or type for that matter.

I get what ya sayin and I understand, you did'nt say anything I already did'nt know lol, I meant that statement as to get somewhere, you have to grab the crowd/audience/fans attenion with something, the people don't wanna hear about your life ALL THE TIME, sometimes is alright, but most people have their own problems to deal with.I'm from Alabama born and raised, but I rap about life and lil stuff I've been through and witnessed, but then I have my times where I'm in a good mood and I want to write somethin "the people" can get up and move to and other intersting things that can grab people, I do it for both (Mr.Smooth and tha people)

correction, this board is extremely versatile, cracka may be a frequent poster but he doesnt represent the entire board. I agree his music isnt varied, i think a few other things about his music but im not into flaming But you cant label everyone here like that.
    safe.

I hope yall dont think I rap like crakajak. lol! My first tape was called Versatile I rapped over Dr. dre's cronic 01 and trust me that was a hood classic, made off a karaoke machine. I mean I know most of yall like yeah whateva but I shut alot of haters down with that. I dont think I even topped that tape yet I consider that my version of illmatic. I was in jersey at the time and alot of cats in the hood was making noise on these tapes so I said ok let me see if I can do this. I heard cats talkin bout that who didnt even know it was me, honestly thats what made me persue this hip hop. But im not a predictable mc right now im working on a whole different style and approach im not trying to be copared to anyone beat wise or mc wise.

before all of you get any more ahead of yourselves, it's time for me to act all voice of reason like.

You do understand that how crack raps is his STYLE? You shouldnt imitate it ever, because you should find your own style. I think cracka can run on from time to time, and when your readin ish on these boards you should keep em short n sweet. But I also think Crack is by far and away one of the most talented people on these boards. If he could get more bass in his voice he'd probably be heard on radio now.

Me, my style isnt cracks. Can I do what he does? Maybe... probably... but I wouldnt ever do it because it's now how I like to sound. I'm all about funny hooks and punchlines that make me feel more like luda when I'm spitting. Nothing too overtly ridiculous, but well **** you guys are thinking about 2 weeks later.

dont hate someone elses style if you dont get it... You should probably spend some time and actually try to think about thier flow and how they expect it to sound and not how you are trying to read it.

It's one of the reasons I hate reading rap battles. Either I spend 20 minutes trying to get thier style so I read em alound and see if the rhymes hold real weight, or I shouldnt be commenting/voting.

I'm not trying to insult you all and say you are dumb for not respecting someone elses style, everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to em. But before you say: "I dont like it...." make sure you get it, otherwise you're not doing anyone here justice.
