Best rap verse ever?

Joe Budden - Pray For Me >>>>

Joe Budden is dope!

My best rap verse ever would probably have to be the third verse of K-Rino's - The Sorcerers Den.

He kinda laughed saying "this must be a joke"
Lined up with the others cause my rath is easily provoked
I said "No it's not a joke" He said, "Well if this is true
Won't you give a demonstration on the things that you could do"
I said Well, I noticed how you metamorphosis size
I had mastered the ability to morph when I was five
I can demonstrated advance transformation overdrive
And explain the process afterwards that's if you're still alive
You talk about your family I have no bloodline
I spun out of the sun I'm the only of my kind
I spoke a million words in a seven second span
He wondered why he couldn't talk back; his mouth was in my hand
I dangled it in front of him, just to see his face
Then made it evaporate and land in his proper place
I made him face a mirror his reflection was cast
Then I shattered his anamity like it was the glass
Turn the mirror into blood wiped it up with a rag
Put his pieces in a box, and put the box in a bag
The people cheered "You must be the Wizard" I said "Indeed"
Can we leave; I said "No cause you now belong to me"

damn, 'my' favorite would be from cipher complete's demo on stretch & bobbito.. but the greatest IS paid in full. thinkin of a master plan...

I'm slick and I'm fly, I'm fly and I'm slick
So slick I could fly like oh my God, I'm flyin oh shit
Am I slicker or flyer don't know, I'm trying to pick
But if I kill you while your driving you'll be ghostriding your whip
I whipped your girlfriend, Now her and her girlfriend both ridin my dick
My flow so I'll I told the doctor help me I'm dyin I'm sick
Supplyin some shit
Dope as heroin, Every word I'm sayin get you high as a *****
High as a brick fallin from the towers
Now I'm ballin on them cowards
So hard the NBA comissioner gon call me any hour
Sour face dem coward haters, **** dem niggas
Now I'm racist, Give em 40 cal. abrasions
Now I'm facin, Allegegations
Dick her then I cum, Sicker with the words
Quicker with a verse, Quicker with a trigger hit a nigga first
If he get us hurt, Lift him in a hearse
Stick em in the dirt, Stick em then I murk
In the kitchen with the work
Den I be whippin round them pots, Like I'm whippin coka ain't I
I'm a lion from the jungle, No heyena
Both my ninas, Get em in a jam
Stick em in a van, Hit em with the blam
Think a nigga playin, Think he give a damn
Squeeze the trigger, Blam
See the nigga ran, Quick as peter pan
Leave em with a tan, See I beat em man
I beat em with the hands

hmm... so many dope verses in hip-hop history that one cannot simply put a cap on the best one.
However, I would say lyrically, the Stop The Violence Movement verses all together would have to be the greatest.

Talking from a single verse though, this right here hit me the hardest.

"Now as I walk into the studio, to do this with Jig'
I got a phone call from one of my nigs
Said my homeboy Reek, he just lost one of his kids
And when I heard that I just broke into tears
And see in the second hand; you don't really know how this is
But when it hits that close to home you feel the pain at the crib
So I called mine, and saddened my wife with the bad news
Now we both depressed, countin our blessings cause Brad's two
Prayin for young souls to laugh atlife through the stars
Lovin your kids just like you was ours
And I'm hurtin for you dog; but ain't nobody pain is like yours
I just know that heaven'll open these doors
And ain't no bright side to losin lifel; but you can view it like this
God's got open hands homey, he in the midst.. of good company
Who loves all and hates not one
And one day you gon' be wit your son
I could've rapped about my hard times on this song
But heaven knows I woulda been wrong
I wouldn'ta been right, it wouldn'ta been love
It wouldn'ta been life, it wouldn'ta been us
This can't be life
"

-Scarface, This Can't Be Life.

Everything about it, from the amount of preparation, to the context, to the feel of it, right down to the flow and emotion and delivery. Broke down when I heard that verse, it is a producers dream to have an MC bless your production in that way.

Dont know but i do say jay and kanye both had great lyrical performances on diamonds from sierra leone

Lately I've been hard to reach
I've been too long on my own
Everybody has their private world
Where they can be alone

Are you calling me?
Are you trying to get through?
Are you reaching out for me?
I'm reaching out for you

I'm just so ******* depressed
I just can't seem to get out this slump
If I could just get over this hump
But I need something to pull me out this dump

I took my bruises, took my lumps
Fell down and I got right back up
But I need that spark to get psyched back up
And in order for me to pick the mic back up

I don't know how or why or when
I ended up this position I'm in
I'm starting to feel dissin' again
So I decided just to pick this pen
Up and try to make an attempt to vent
But I just can't admit
Or come to grips with the fact that I may be done with rap
I need a new outlet

And I know some ****'s so hard to swallow
But I can't just sit back and wallow
In my own sorrow but I know one fact
I'll be one tough act to follow

One tough act to follow
I'll be one tough act to follow
Here today, gone tomorrow
But you'd have to walk a thousand miles

In my shoes, just to see
What it's like, to be me
I'll be you, let's trade shoes
Just to see what it'd be like

To feel your pain, you feel mine
Go inside each others' minds
Just to see what we'd find
Look at **** through each others' eyes

Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ******, just stay true to you
So don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ******, just stay true to you

I think I'm starting to lose my sense of humor
Everything's so tense and gloom
I almost feel like I gotta check
The temperature of the room

Just as soon as I walk in, it's like all eyes on me
And so I try to avoid any eye contact
'Cause if I do that then it opens the door
For conversation, like I want that

I'm not looking for extra attention
I just wanna be just like you
Blend in with the rest of the room
Maybe just point me to the closest restroom

I don't need no ******* man servant
Trying to follow me around and wipe my ***
Laugh at every single joke I crack
And half of 'em ain't even funny like

Ha! Marshall you're so funny man
You should be a comedian, god damn!"
Unfortunately I am
I just hide behind the tears of a clown

So why don't you all sit down
Listen to the tale I'm about to tell
Hell, we don't gotta trade our shoes
And you ain't gotta walk no thousand miles

In my shoes, just to see
What it's like, to be me
I'll be you, let's trade shoes
Just to see what it'd be like

To feel your pain, you feel mine
Go inside each others minds
Just to see what we'd find
Look at **** through each others eyes

Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ******, just stay true to you
So don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ******, just stay true to you

Nobody asked for life to deal us
With these bullshit hands we're dealt
We gotta take these cards ourselves
And flip 'em, don't expect no help

Now I could've either just sat on my ***
And pissed and moaned
Or take this situation in which I'm placed in
And get up and get my own

I was never the type of kid
To wait by the door and pack his bags
I sat on the porch and hoped and prayed
For a dad to show up who never did

I just wanted to fit in
Every single place, every school I went
I dreamed of being that cool kid
Even if it meant acting stupid

And Edna always told me
Keep making that face and it'll get stuck like that
Meanwhile I'm just standing there
Holding my tongue tryna talk like that

'Til I stuck my tongue on that frozen stop sign pole
At 8 years old
I learned my lesson then
'Cause I wasn't trying to impress my friends no more

But I already told you my whole life story
Not just based on my description
'Cause where you see it, from where you're sittin
It's probably 110% different

I guess we would have to walk a mile
In each others shoes at least
What size you wear? I wear 10's
Let's see if you can fit your feet

In my shoes, just to see
What it's like, to be me
I'll be you, let's trade shoes
Just to see what it'd be like

To feel your pain, you feel mine
Go inside each others minds
Just to see what we'd find
Look at **** through each others eyes

Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ****** just stay true to you
So don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ****** just stay true to you

So don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful
They can all get ****** just stay true to you
So

Lately I've been hard to reach
I've been too long on my own
Everybody has their private world
Where they can be alone

Are you calling me?
Are you trying to get through?
Are you reaching out for me?
I'm reaching out for you

I cant pick a verse from this song because it is just truly deep from beginning to end when you think of his career and hip hop.
