writing to specific beats

how do you guys write songs. I find it hard to just sit and write I usually like to have the track and write to that.
but Ive been trying lately to writhe without the track.
 
Be real , write about something that matters to you and make sure u don't hold back just because u feel it's cheesy usually the best punchlines start that way
