writing a hook after youve written 2 verses for a song.

its obvious for me to do what I feel is right.

Music is weird. Get weird with it. There are no cut and dry answers, obvi. Here are a few steps I take when I have the Verses first...

    1. Do the verses have a general theme?
    2. How did I start the verses? Can the last line of the hook lead into this?
    3. (Opposite from above) What are the last lines in the verses? Can I Transition this into the first line of the hooks?
    4. Dammit now I need to Alter the verses to fit my now great hook. lol

The verses are more details about the main message of the chorus. Try writing a few different sentences down that summarize what you're trying to say over all and see if you can tweak the best one into something clever that fits your syllables.
