I really like your work magmavander.
The Herbie track was my favorite. That was off the hook. The Brasilian clouds had a lot of phasing in it. I didn't know if that was intentional bu,t it got a little annoying after awhile.
I really liked the jazz stuff though. Really different sounding tracks. I think it's better that you don't know theory because, it makes your music more free. Your stuff has a nice free form to it. I'd play it in my car.

    Hi caine

Thanks a lot for your cool words That helps me too.

Most of the links I gived you here pointed to my latest works. So most of them are unfinished.
But I have written hundreds and hundreds of theme, snippets, songs... I can't stop

You say "Brasilian clouds had a lot of phasing" and after listening to it again I must admit that you're right

Brasilian clouds was written and produced in two or three hours, it's just an idea, a snippet, I've not really worked on his sound (the percs are too loud, the bass get a big phasing effect like you noticed, I think this came from the chorus effect I use and which have a 'phasing' fonction I didnt disable).
But I think there is room to add more and turn it in something cool.

Same for a song like Herbie. It was done in 5 or 6 hours. But some others were done in a longer time, like 'in the room' that took me 2 or 3 days or jazzin the buzz which was done in one week.

For me it's a challenge to write everything instead of using sampled music or musical loops. And now that I know well my software, I try to add 'feelings' in my stuff, to give the feel that it's not just 'electronic music'.
That's also why your words about my 'musical freedom' sounds so good me

Anyway, let us know when you have something new to listen. I really enjoyed your song. Simple and sophisticated in the same time, something difficult to create and you've done it.

    Au revoir
frenchy but chic! sharing my music
