Experimental beat i made a year or so back when i was having a block... I have a few things i wanna go back and do to it, strip some elements out, and maybe put new ones in... what do you think of it?

The better your review is, the more inclined i am to give YOU an in depth review... Comment on the mix, mastering, panning, sound choice, arrangement, whole 9 yards... F4F 100%

for the mix - the hi hats seem a bit loud. those little scratches sound a bit annoying to me. the whole beat sounds very closed in, like it's been run thru a filter or something, it needs to be brighter and deeper.

sound choice - the drums all sound a bit like theyre all clipped off at the end and only playing the beginning of a hit. i dont really like any of the high end drum choices. the snare and kick are enjoyable. the piano sounds nice, if a bit plain - maybe add an instrument.

arrangement - interesting but isn't very clearly structured to me.

i like the vocal sample, it could be used more. the beat definitely needs bass to tie it all together... my criticism of the high end might change completely if bass was simply added as it would provide something to balance all those sounds.

ok the mix is decent...but as the previous poster said, the hi hats and scratches are throwing me off. the track doesn't blend too well because of it. interesting choice of drums here....the kick could use some reverb. The piano arrangement is weird to me...i can't catch a melody on it. That's not to say it's bad though...plenty of artists use abstract samples and arrangements. There's no bassline or anything, which makes it seem a bit empty. Overall, the track is interesting, but it's not my cup of tea, to be honest. The vocal sample definitely has a place in this song and it sounds good. Overall, i do like it...it shows some creativity.

Check me out when you can!

I really like the melody and the drums but the scratching noise maybe you could replace with a shaker and the arrangement is pretty good really like that voice .... overall pretty chill beat
