Hi guys, less than a year in producing so here is my latest beat. ;)
Kind of a "classic" hip hop stuff, rough mixing/mastering though, be nice :p

At what part is the kick saturated? all throughout the whole track or a certain part? I'm asking because used several kicks throughout the beat. Thanks for your feedback. Trying to get the mix the best I can!

argh, tough to say, I think that all your kicks with high velocity saturate, even more with there are other big sounds on it at the same time. Don't know what you're using and your experience in production but watch your maters, it should NOT go red ;)

Love those horns. Sound is nice and fat. Dope drum kit. I need to update my kits, 98% of them are filled with snappy trap snares and hard hitting 808 kicks. I need some balance in my library. Anyhow nice beat man, give my first sampled beat a peep let me know what you think. Not having luck pasting a link from my phone, it's labeled as first sampled beat / porn-hop.

Thanks man !

I recently discovered the thing with the drum breaks.
I did not work on the sound and the break sounded flat, but with some EQ and compressing it changes the whole thing !
It takes time but the result can be really cool.
 
i like the drums you got going...nice chops as well...definitely has that old school feel...good job, keep grinding.
