Drake Style Beat

It sounds good the way it is, but it seems like it's just percussion and vox on top of some (well executed) pads/atmospheres. Maybe add something to set it off or switch the best up halfway through like some of drakes songs have done recently.

Sounds good man, good sounds they all fit well together.. The kick/snare pattern could use more differentiation though, it get's pretty repetetive. Personally, I try to stay away from the chants like the ones you used, just because every producer in the game has those sounds and I like to try and be more unique, but they work. I'd add some effects to them or play with the pitches or something, just to make them a little more unique, you know? Good work overall though, keep grinding!

Nice beat definitely drake type agree no chants should be on this. But like the simplicity of it all.

The beat has a nice feel and a real smooth undertone to it just like most of drizzy's work but the snare and the kick sound to upbeat/popish I suggest changing them or changing the pitch on them to a darker sound, and yo check me out on soundcloud Any love shown will be returned
 
Great beat - really well done! I do hear it as a drake style beat. The depth you achieved sounds really great and is no small feat. Very slick mix, it's a pleasure to listen to! The kick was especially good - great power with plenty of punch!
