Yeah some samples chopped and played together. I added my own guitar strums and bassline to it.

In the begining i thought it was gonna be some overly happy ass newschool shit( i hate hapy music and i hate newschool) but then it turns inte awesome boombap shit. Very nice beat. The mix is really good. got no complaints. Good job!

Very cool beat man! I dig the triggering of that guitar sample. The drums are cool too - they don't honestly sound super 'modern' but they do have a good tinge of something a bit more retro. I would recommend some risers/sweeps to help fill out those transitions. You have some reverse cymbals in there which is dope! But when that really lyrical section with the orchestra opens up a nice sweep might really set it off!

Really great work, keep it up! I can't wait to hear more!

Love the drum breaks/loops! the bass line is cool, I feel like the piano could be a tad bit louder but other than I don't have much else to say mix wise. Could definitely imagine someone spitting over this.

Nice hip hop track and I like the switch up from the intro to the melody and how you created the bounce. Bass has a good melody and I like the drum work. Chorus is a nice transition while still using the original instruments.

Eyy, really feeling the chops you had going on, the drums are on point too, though maybe the snares could use a bit of a 250-300 hz boost, just to to give it a slight punch.
