    Hello FP,

I used to come here and get feedback on my hip-hop tracks. I've recently started a "rock" band and I wanted to share my music with all of you FPers. I know it's not the typical FP feedback post, since it isn't hip-hop or R&B.

Some background: Our name is Sway Breezy. There are two members. It's mostly acoustic, mellow, groovy, funky, jazzy, all around good feeling music. I play guitar, bass, xzylaphone, keys and sing lead vocals. The other guy plays drums and sings backing vocals. I produce it all on a ProTools Mac setup.

    Here we are: www.myspace.com/swaybreezy

I will try to return all feedback.

    Thanks,
    -Grips

the tracks are pretty cool i guess...i'm not up on my rock muzak the way i used to be...but they seem cool. there are a couple that sound like they start exactly the same. but...i like the direction and creativity!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll take another look at the intro to those songs.

I figured I wouldn't get much of a response here because it's more hip-hop based. so I do appreciate the listen.

    Peace!

You guys have a good sound. Recordings were good, they had a garage sound but still sounded clear and nice. I liked the songs too. Some of them veer too close to being kind of commonplace, though, but a few, like the first one, are definitely cool.
