The north east has always been lyrical ....there were no monster beatmakers in the north east during Hip Hops golden age...the closest was RZA but he had the illest group of MC's ever so it really didnt matter how ill he was. It wasnt party music so people listened to them.

Right now in Hip Hop you know for a fact the biggest money makers are rapping about bull**** and dont really have much skill...production and marketing is making the money. In an age of Laffy Taffy,Lip gloss,Chicken noodle soup are you seriously telling me that this concept isnt a better one for HipHop.

I know my **** would never be a smash hit because people are programmed but its refreshing and different....its about the concept...il be damned if my **** means less in the true essence of hiphop than the majority of **** out now.

I make all types of beats... mostly beats that dont even have an official classification.....Hip Hop sales have declined the past 2 years...the people are speaking...their saying Hip Hop is dead...HipHop is in this state because of rappers but moreso the producers who allow this crap on their tracks. Money is the motivator and will be the destruction of the artform.

how many times have you seen someone say HipHop is dead on this site? Ive only been here 2 days and I see it like crazy. WE KNOW ALREADY....MY **** IS DIFFERENT...AND JUST BEING DIFFERENT IS ENOUGH OF A CONCEPT LET ALONE I DECIDED TO DO A LIL OLD SCHOOL **** ON THE TRACK

Like I said....My **** is unique in a market flooded with guns, hoes, rims, ganstas, laffytaffy, lip gloss,BayBays,money...how many rappers you know just flippin their flows and trynna show how ill they are without relying on a crazy dirtysouth bassy club beat.

    THATS MY CONCEPT

Hey I respect your opinion...I aint mad atcha......its not that serious but on some real ****.....Im very into Hip Hop and the music I do which will later be defined.....sometimes I get emotional with this **** because the game presently really upsets me. Im in this for the art...not to get rich.
trust me i feel everything ure sayin..cause i'm heavy into hip hop 2..Common talked about hip hop bein dead since 94 in I use 2 love H.E.R ...and much of if not everything he said then can be relayed 2 today and still be as relevant..he basically talked about how rap dumbed down from wat he use 2 remember 4 money...so itz the same game 2day..

yea music was more lyrical back then & the concepts were equally as ill 2..but back then r&b really ran the scene as far as commercial appeal and i unno if u remember..but a lot of r&b catz would rap on songz & they were really wack 2...ure gonna tell me people was listenin 2 lyricz..on a commercial stand point..people dont listen 2 lyricz and never have...cause commercial fanz arent FANz like us...they'll buy an album 4 1 song & not listen 2 the rest...

perfect example...common didn't really get noticed until he started messin wit kanye and commonz been spittin real **** 4ever..only time u ever saw common on tv let alone the radio..was when he featured on r&b jointz...now his songz get serious spin...ure gonna tell me people listened to lyricz when Reasonable Doubt only went gold when it came out? Y? because the majority of people who buy recordz only listen 2 the fun **** and dont listen to lyricz...same as today..but the lyricz have gotten blander..but i guarantee u..nobody wantz 2 listen 2 canibus when they a party chillin...i love dude..but c'mon letz be serious..itz not about bein programmed..itz about..everybody fitting into a niche and thatz how itz alwayz been...

Guess I really need to look at it from a lame HipHop fans point of view and figure out if theres a fix. Because we are real HipHop fans but most people that buy arent true....I see where you commin from

Hip Hop just needs a new marketing strategy.....****.....whatever that may be
If you got 15 haters then you need 16
