I'm not much for sampling, but I decided to give it a shot. A friend of mine asked me to sample this track from Blue Foundation called "I seek you out."

I spent a good 2 hours [I think] putting this little ditty together.

    Check it out:

Tell me what you guys think. I'm not gunna sugarcoat anything and I don't want any of yall to do so either, I hate sampling and I already know I suck at it. But I'm trying to warm up to it since the Hip-Hop/Rap community thrives on it.

But plz, give me some advice, what works, what doesn't, you know... critique it. Many thanks in advance.

    ~H.O.P.

I dont think the sampling was that bad. I like the feel of it, but I don't think the piano fit it that well. But I kinda wanna use that sample now (prolly won't but it's nice to think I will). Anyway it wasnt that bad I think, different but not bad.

I had trouble figuring out what I could use as a bit of a filler sound for the verse sections. It got a little troublesome because I believe I overused the vocal samples.
