I feel like you really had the right idea with "breakadawn" just maybe take some of the samples down in the mix, the constant high frequency, its still noticeable. This is the kind **** I could rip real well.

Try and change the drum snare, and just the entire involvement in the role of the drums, bring them out more.

and mellow of the usage of the breakadawn sample, its good but be more sparce about it

Wait is another really nice sample, you just gotta work on putting your own spin on it and not relying on the samples to carry the beat as much. The sitting point of the song is nice though, once the samples die down and the verse kicks in. Another nice track for killing, if you need an MC to make these songs official, I get real serious about pumping a song out

Wait - this joint has a nice soul sample on it. I see you laced it with some dirty south drums.

Break of Dawn - ah, nice oldschool vibe on this joint. Real mellow. I see you fond of those 808s. I suggest cutting the 70-250 range out of your sample to make room for that thud...

These got a J dilla vibe to em.

I appreciate you checking out my threads...peace!

man my fave is the break of dawn, but what i think is that you should redo the drums..i think this beat stands for hard boom bad drums...the 808 can still be on there you should just layer it with another kit, and learn how to mix the sample a little better with the drums tho

They're good. You choose good sounds to use, and your drums were repetitive but nice. I really like break of dawn.

You chose some really good samples. Only thing I would suggest is to not leave some of those drums so dry. Especially the claps. Try to add a small amount of reverb to the claps and stuff. Maybe try to chop those samples in more than one way, just for variety. Try some reverse crashes, fx sweeps, various things to make the beats a lil more ear catching.

These are some really soulful samples I like them. However the actual beats could use some more depth. As blak said, sweep effects, delay and things of that nature help alot...I also feel that the chops could use some variation as well. Keep grinding.
